I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Sephora (San Antonio, TX) in Dec 2014
Interview
I applied online and went into the store and spoke with a manager. I gave my name and told them I really loved their store. They wrote down my name and found my application. I got a call and interview within the week. They are very customer oriented. You want to have everyone who walks into Sephora feel welcomed and happy. Many questions have to deal with previous customer service experience and role playing. The more availability you have the more likely you are to be hired. They like to have people with open availability. Also don't be afraid to be light hearted, smile and laugh. Sephora is supposed to be a fun work place.

Let's pretend you own your own store: If a client dropped a $100 bottle of perfume in the parking lot, returned to the store upset and late for a birthday that the perfume was a gift for, how would you handle it?
The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Sephora (Boca Raton, FL) in Oct 2019
Interview
I was first contacted over the phone for a quick phone screen. During the phone call, I was asked about my previous job experiences, responsibilities, and why I left my previous job. I was also asked about why I chose Sephora. They then asked me to come in for an interview. When I came in for the in-person interview, I sat and spoke with the manager who asked me typical interview questions.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Sephora in Sept 2019
Interview
They called me and had an impromptu phone interview. Asked me 3-4 questions. Then scheduled an in person interview. I have yet to attend in person interview but i will be on monday
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Sephora (Denver, CO) in Aug 2019
Interview
Easy interview process, though I’d recommend going in to speak with the manager first (which is generally good practice for all retail jobs). You’ll have a phone interview & and in-person interview & then you’ll find out if you’ve gotten the job. Good luck!
