I applied online. I interviewed at Sephora (Denver, CO)
Interview
The first interview was a group interview. I believe the intention was to observe how well we interact with others, which is an essential skill to have in order to be successful in the role. The second interview was with a lead and the final interview was with the manager. They care less about how much knowledge one possesses in makeup, skincare, etc. They can train you on all of that. Their main concern is how you present yourself to others and how much charisma you have.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Give an example of a time you went above and beyond for a client or a project.
Pretty standard interview. A lot of the questions emphasized selling to the customer so focus on that. If they ask what your favourite product is, don’t just say what it is. Try to sell it to the interviewer.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Sephora (Westgate, England) in Mar 2026
Interview
10 minute call over the phone, asked maybe around 10 ish common interview questions. Relatively easiy interview process and then they ask about availability, right to work, etc. at the end.
During the group interview process, all participants were asked the same set of structured questions. These included questions about industry knowledge, customer service skills, and several realistic scenario-based problem-solving situations.
