Overall process was pretty straight forward:
1. Recruiter > 2. Future teammate > 3. Hiring Manager > 4. HR > 5. Panel presentation (Hiring Manager & Regional Director)
Recruiter (Ollie) is very professional and kept me up to date on all stages. Many many thanks.
The role we discussed is much more functional as it's described in the role description. I am coming from tech/integration and I thought it could be very interesting development for me.
I was successful in all rounds except the last one (panel presentation). I thought it was very good meeting, and only later understood I did not give the best of me.
It was expected that I will be presenting my slides like for prospects/clients. But I did not turn my "internal switch off" and still (wrongly) considered all participants as teammates when explaining the solution (which I am sure is correct). After the meeting I was told I was not "energetic enough". Well, maybe because it was end of day Friday and I was tired after quite complicated week. Or it was expected that I will act more as Sales, where I thought I will be the one who delivers a solution. Or the stars not aligned...
Initially I was not looking for new job. It's recruiter who reached out to me in LinkedIn and I thought it's quite interesting opportunity. In my current role I have good compensation package, so I had to discuss it with ServiceNow recruiter/HR twice, because desired salary was above the budget. So, may be it is another (I think it's main) reason I did not get an offer.
In overall - good meeting experience and learning exercise.
