I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Shiftsmart in Jun 2022
Interview
The interview process was pretty straightforward - case study, then case study presentation, and final rounds with team members + CEO. I ended up declining the offer after reading the reviews of the working culture of the company. I also reached out to others who previously worked here and they all mentioned poor experiences. While I really enjoyed my conversations, it seemed like the team was trying to cover up for a high level of churn caused by poor business execution and leadership culture.

Typical questions on background, previous projects, working with teammates, etc.
I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Shiftsmart (New York, NY) in Oct 2022
Interview
I interviewed with Shiftsmart after applying through the company website. After a case study, presentation, and 8 interviews over 2.5 months and positive feedback after each one, I did not receive an offer. The process was convoluted and unclear. I was told that I was not a fit in the team that they had suggested I interview for. I was then told to interview in another team where there may be a role, and was then told I would not be made an offer. The communication was consistently and deliberately hard to understand. The HR team changed the decision date on four separate occasions, and then changed the rules. I now believe there was never a role in the first place.
