After applying was set up for online "interview" (you don't actually talk to anyone, but answer questions that appear onscreen, some you answer in video). Having been in sales and customer service for many years, with a background in grocery before that, I felt sure I would be moved on to next steps.
However, two days after my video "interview" I got a curt email saying they decided to move ahead with "other candidates." Having read a similar review of someone who had 20+ years of sales and customer service experience, similar to my experience, I have to wonder if there isn't some age discrimination going on here. May look into that. Certainly wasn't a lack of qualification.
At any rate, after reading in reviews about the demand on your personal vehicle, difficult customers, inconsistent available work, and the rarity of tips, this probably worked out for the best.
