I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Slack (Chicago, IL) in Oct 2021
Interview
Recruiter reached out to me for interview. Interview was scheduled a few days later. Recruiter was professional, asked several questions about my background based on my resume. I asked the recruiter to detail the interview process from interview to offer letter. I asked about the hiring manager and was provided contact to review their credentials on LinkedIn, After what I thought was a good conversation, I would be meeting next with the hiring manager. To my dismay, I received an automated email saying that they were moving forward with other candidates and that I did not have customer facing experience. At my previous employer I directly managed a territory with over 90 offices. No customer facing experience? Really?
