I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Slalom (New York, NY) in Jun 2019
Interview
I was reached out by the slalom recruiter - was smooth, was quick - the recruiter and the interviewers had my profile with them - interview was setup in a weeks time.
Amazing part was, the most senior of them, Regional Practice lead was yawning in front of me many times, she had no structure on what she wanted to ask instead - kept saying anything else you want to say - really?
2nd Interviewer (was reporting to the regional lead) - this guy had exact same experience as I had and same company i had moved from - had a great conversation, he had some pointed questions which i think i answered pretty well .... but when i heard the feedback from recruiter "I didnt have the exact skill they were looking for" - so he thinks he can have the same background and perform but others with similar experience can not ... which is fine - but i would have preferred that he would have looked into my profile more closely (shows that they didnt even looked at my profile before the interview ) and told this to recruiter before calling me for an interview-
3rd interviewer was good and had the same issue of not looking at my profile before the interview
it took me 1 hours car ride and 1 hours of train ride to get their office in NYC to find out that practice lead was yawning and not interested and they have not even looked at my profile before the interview.
The recruiter was decent enough to get back with me to provide a feedback

4 rounds of interviews. Very casual. They asked about my background and my goals. I was given time to ask questions about the firm, as well. Everyone was very friendly and inviting.

Question 1
Tell me about yourself and why you want to work at Slalom.
From the moment I applied, the entire process was impressively smooth and efficient. I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly the team reached out to schedule our initial conversation. The interview itself was well-structured and engaging, with thoughtful questions that allowed me to showcase my skills and experience.
