After half a dozen of interviews for a role, at the very final stage of the process, they emailed me that they needed to reschedule my final interview due to a clash and then just disappeared. My polite email enquiries were left unanswered. I understand that they might have chosen another candidate, but hey what happened to basic business ethics? One would expect at least a short email or a call in this situation but not total ghosting. This leaves a bad aftertaste and is quite damaging for the company’s brand and reputation overall.
