I have responded on a vacancy of Sopra Steria Netherlands branch. So this interview review does not reflect the review process of any other Sopra Steria branch.
The interview process consists of two rounds. Round one is an interview with a manager. My experience of the first round was pleasant.
The second round is an interview with HR. The interview itself was fine. But the process afterwards was not. I must say that the HR department is not fit for its purpose.
Let me explain why:
1) after a few weeks (Ive tried to get in touch with HR after a week or so, but that was not possible. HR does not pick up the phone, reply on emails and/or texts) HR told me that Sopra Steria NL was interested in making me an offer. They would get things ready to send me the offer;
2) After another three weeks I was finally able to get in touch with HR (calling, e-mailen and texting to HR was not working), since I have called with caller ID disabled. HR promised to get back today before 5 pm, but that didn't happen;
3) After a week I have sent a notice that I'm not interested anymore;
4) Even then no reply , nothing!
5) 3+ months interview process, totally a waste of time!
