      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Springbox

      Interview

Applied online and was contacted by a recruiter to setup a phone call with the hiring manager. Seemed odd to have a first call with the hiring manager, but ok. Had a good call. Basically a getting to know you call. I sent a followup thank you email. More than a week went by and I sent another email. The recruiter finally got back me...apparently they were out for a week and never bothered to mention it. The hiring manager was out the next week. So a few weeks went by, and a few emails from me. I thought, things happen, people are busy...ok. We finally scheduled another call with the hiring manager, who seemed very nice and professional. We talked about next steps. I again emailed a followup thank you. And now its been a number of weeks, and a couple more emails from me, and nothing...totally ghosted. It gets tiresome with the unprofessional behaviour. I guess the bad communication is just how they operate. It's really not that hard to let candidates know what's going on, and if it's not a fit, that's fine too...just let people know. There is simply no excuse for leaving people hanging. If this is how they treat potential employees, I wonder how they treat actual employees...and clients. I guess I dodged a bullet here.
