Interview
I have totally given 3 interviews from Feb to July 2021. but neither offer nor proper response from HR. I never seen these kinds of HR in my career. if there is no open position/ budget, then please don't waste the time of the candidate.
1st Experience:
23 Feb 2021 - job application for SRE role accepted
3 Mar 2021 - invitation to complete Behaviors Assessment
23 Mar 2021 - I cleared 2 rounds of tech interview. but after that no response from HR. No HR round, no offer letter. after multiple follow-ups finally I came to know that position was already closed (I don’t know why) but she said she can arrange another interview for different role.
2nd Experience:
5th May - interview scheduled for Support Manager role.
14th May - Cleared both tech rounds.
19th May - HR team asked me to submit all the relevant documents which I did very next day. but after this no response from HR team on further process / offer letter.
26th May - This time HR said different reason. They can't offer expected package and position, so he started negotiation for lesser package. but I replied to offer the package which they agreed at the beginning
20th July- (Yes, after 2 months from interview) again after multiple follow-ups, HR replied he will get back to me by EOD and later he said the position was closed. he apologized and he knew it will impact the company's reputation and so he enquired whether I could attend another interview. This time he assured that he can release offer in 2 days without any delay if everything goes fine.
At this point as I already spend ~5 months in this process (from February to July) and I know this is not going smooth. every day I woke up with hope I will get offer today but It didn’t happen yet. it was so stressful to spend days without any updates/response from HR. so I expressed that am not ready for it but he didn’t leave me and he was trying to convince me to just give him 2 hours of my time so he can arrange another interview for me. so...
3rd Experience:
22 July- attended 1st round of interview for SRE role.
no response yet (as of today 12th August). Fed up. tired.
I decided that I won’t follow-up this time also I won’t attend any other interview in future with this company.
