I applied in-person. I interviewed at Staples (San Francisco, CA) in Aug 2015
Interview
Well mine may have been somewhat different than what normally takes place. First I went to a career fair where I got an interview on the spot which lasted about 10 minutes. After this I had to take two short assessments online in order for the company to see if I would be a good fit for the company. After that, there I had to shadow one of the business consultants to see how a regular day would be if I was offered the job. After that you have to present a comprehensible presentation as to why you believe you would be a good fit in the B2B Sales position.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Staples (Providence, RI) in Jan 2022
Interview
It was a 2-step interview process. I had my first interview with the recruiter that reached out to me and then my next interview was with the direct manager. It was a smooth process probably because I was referred by an employee.

Question 1
What experience in sales do I have? Do I have experience with cold calling? Am I comfortable with commuting to the main office? etc.
It was a long process, had a total of 5 interviews for the outside b2b Sales position. 3 phone 2 in person. They want to get to know you and make sure you are a good fit as the job requires you to be very self motivated
