I applied online. I interviewed at State Farm in Dec 2014
Interview
I am going to make this short and to the point.
- Applied through Indeed.com
- Received e-mail requesting phone interview
- The phone interview was scheduled for 2:30PM and at 4:45 PM I decided to contact State Farm agent to inquire on the phone interview. She proceeded to tell me that she totally forgot about the interview and wanted me to go ahead and answer some questions. The phone interview went very well, I was very prepared. Casual conversation on background, experience, why did you apply for the position, what makes you a great fit for the position? She then said GREAT, I'll e-mail you in a few days so we can proceed to the next step in the hiring process.
- I sent an e-mail the next day thanking her for her time and consideration.
- A week later I sent another email asking on the status of the hiring process and the position and that it was my understanding that we were proceeding to the next step.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at State Farm (San Antonio, TX) in Aug 2013
Interview
Applied online, got an email a day later to take an assessment online. Upon finishing, got another email about a phone interview. Phone interview was brief and friendly. Scheduled a one on one interview. This one was a bit more difficult but not impossible. A lot of situational questions. Got a call back 3 days later with an offer.
