I applied in-person. I interviewed at State Street Global Advisors (Boston, MA) in Jul 2018
Interview
Easy. Asked about my experience and interests. I came from a Finance background, so they were interested in how my studies intersected with my projected career path.
They were also interested in some of the skills that I had gained outside of my degree. Ultimately, they were interested in a multi-skilled candidate who can add value to the team in a variety of ways.
I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at State Street Global Advisors (Bengaluru) in Sept 2021
Interview
Interview was easy. Asked basics of SQL, UNIX and java.
2 technical and 1 hiring manager round. I was told I'm selected, but they did not come back with offer letter, after 1 month of witing and regular followup, HR told they can wait notice period if 60 days an they aksee me to drop an email if 90 days notice period and il confirm that I'll join. But after the regular followup there is no response. HR is irresponsible. They do not give proper update on the feedback. They waste your time. No value for the time
