Multiple rounds of interviews, 15 min call, zoom interviews, a presentation and a retail math test. I believe they have simplified the interview process now and have eliminated the presentation.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Stitch Fix (San Francisco, CA) in Sept 2019
Interview
Applied online and received an email from the recruiter to set up a phone screen, which was just a lot of situational questions. Then had to complete an online assessment to test basic skills. Recruiter reached out the next day to schedule an onsite interview and I met with three people from the team 1:1. The interviewers read from a list of situation questions and were not very personable so it was very hard to read them. Some of the questions were very specific and I had never experienced anything that fit all of their criteria. Many questions were also too senior for someone interviewing for this role. They saw my resume so they should have known which questions were appropriate to ask. Only 1 of the interviewers explained the role and team functions so it was unclear what they were even looking for. Overall the questions felt very negative and they never asked why I even wanted to work there.
