      Valuation Analyst Interview

      8 Aug 2024
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Stout

      Interview

I had two interviews with the HR recruiter that I spoke with at my school. Mostly behavioral questions and a couple of basic technicals mixed in (tell me about the 3 financial statements). Then a third round interview with two members of the team was a mixture of behavioral and decently tough technical questions. Technicals focused on Accounting and Valuation methods. I did fine on those and probably would have had a 4th round in office but I froze up on one of the behaviorals and that was enough to not get asked to continue with the process.

I interviewed at Stout (Los Angeles, CA)

      Interview

the first round is case study, very easy binomial pricing. Second round was all about techs, which I did not review for. OVerall positive experience, but definitely need to work harder to pass the interview.
