Very simple and straightforward. Normal questions like availability, have you worked in food service before, etc. I think it depends on location though since friends at other locations have had more substantive or less substantive interviews.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Subway (St. John's, NL) in May 2013
Interview
I applied online and received and email asking if I could come in for an interview about a week later. When I came in for the interview I had a one-on-one interview with the Manager in the seating area where I was asked basic interview questions and told what to expect from the job. A few hours later I got the call and was told to come in for training later that week.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Pretty basic interview questions about past experience and avaliability
Straightforward and professional with typical fast food interview questions. Friendly and easy to talk to interviewers. Reasonable length and in person made it more comfortable. Great experience and easy interview.
Was pretty average hospitality interview process, focus on customer service in a fast paced environment, how to deal with stress, team work/ collaboration, company values, and your past experience. and availability etc.
