Very informal and relaxed. Manager was very welcoming and friendly, and I was interviewed in a very comfortable atmosphere. Brief discussion about my age, what subjects I was studying, etc, before starting on the interview. I felt really at ease and was able to talk somewhat casually to the manager. I was fully briefed on job duties and reassured I would be fully trained. There was a lot of emphasis on customer service and being a team player; as the manager put it - 'Anyone can make a sandwich, but not everybody can have good customer service'.

I was sat down and asked questions about myself in a possible manner in the middle of the restaurant as people dined around me. I was then instructed to cut bread so they could see how well I could do.
