      Manager Training and Development Interview

      3 Nov 2016
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Louisville, KY
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Sysco (Louisville, KY) in Oct 2016

      Interview

I was sent an email to reply with times for availability, for a phone interview. I gave 3 different times they replied with the time and date. I waited around 20 mins after the interview time, and nothing. I finally received an email to reschedule. I replied back promptly as I did for the initial email. This time I finally interviewed. The interview was basic, qualifications, strengths and weaknesses, and why Sysco. My phone interview went very well. At the end the recruiter said she would recommend me for an in-person interview, and that I would receive a call within two weeks. She went on to explain that the interview would take 3 hrs, and that I should bring extra copies of my resume. She let me know that I would get a call from a different department that would schedule the interview. Less then a week later, I looked up the status on Syscos website, which lets you know where you are in the process, and it showed that the process was closed out, and to apply for other positions. No call, no denial email, no reason, I'd feel different if I was not told that I would have a second interview. This seems to be a great company, but a few opportunities in recruiting. Such a shame, I looked forward to working for this company, and I am clearly qualified for the position, meeting and exceeding all basic qualifications.
