I was only able to take the online assessment, I was never brought in for the first interview. I applied for a Full Stack JavaScript Developer position and they send me a link to a third party online coding assessment. It’s 2021, I’ve been a developer since 2019, and the assessment tested only pre-2015 JavaScript, which I have very little exposure to. I quit the assessment as soon as that became apparent. I know for a fact they use modern JavaScript on their projects, so why not test developers on the version of the language they’ll actually use?
