HR screening (behavioural interview), then interview with hiring manager, then take-home case interview and subsequent presentation to a panel. The case interview is prepared by your hiring manager and will depend on which team you are applying to.
I applied online. I interviewed at TELUS (Calgary, AB) in May 2026
Interview
Relatively quick following applying. Half an hour HR call, behavioral assessment, and one interview with the hiring manager and a colleague.
There seemed to be a big disconnect between the job posting and how the hiring manager actually described the role. The irritating part is that I knew there would be several more rounds of interviews, and following week I received the automated rejection saying the position was filled, which can't be true because there was no way they had those interviews in less than a week. My guess is that they sent the wrong rejection template, just felt disconnected and sloppy after so much time was already put into it.
