I interviewed at The Cheesecake Factory (Chevy Chase)
Interview
You must apply online at first, this is a general application with information about who you are and your previous work. As long as you hit the basic qualifications ( over 18, 2 years of server experience) you will get a call to schedule an interview. If you are over 18 but you do not have 2 years of experience you will get a call back for another position such as cashier, wrangler ( both TOGO positions more natural transition to Expo), host, or food runner (floor positions more natural transition to server). The interview is simple and easy going. Which ever manager that currently manages the position you are applying for, in this case the serving manager, will interview. Unlike smaller restaurants the managers are Salary and do not serve ( they are not allowed to collect tips at ALL) so the manager conducting your interview is not your competition and there is no bias in that regard. Not everyone gets hired but everyone will get offered a interview. If they have not responded to you yet, reach out to the store via phone and ask to speak to a hiring manager. If the restaurant as a fuller staff already that also might impact if you get hired regardless of interview and ability.

Interview
Pretty straightforward, they ask about your experience and how you would deal with certain customers. They ask about problem solving skills and customer service scenarios. They ask what you want from the job and where you see yourself in 5 years.
Simple interview process. Go in person and answer some basic questions with floor manager and they'll let you know if you got the job or not pretty much right there. Pretty sure everyone will get in.
