Process was one recruiter phone screen, followed by a panel interview with three interviewers.
The panel interview was the final round and I was told I would hear back early next week. I was also told I was a strong contender - top two finalist. At the end of the next week, I followed up with the recruiter and she did not respond to me. At that point, I knew I was not selected but was surprised to be completely ignored like that. I waited one more week and followed up again asking for feedback, when she finally called me. The feedback was unclear and not useful to me.
During the interview, the interviewers seemed to imply that Coca Cola was a values-based company. Which is why I was disappointed they wouldn't respect me enough to spend 30 seconds writing me a rejection email after the decision was made. Even an automated response would have been better than complete radio silence and responding two weeks later only after I had bugged them twice.
All candidates, but especially those who make it to the final round, deserve the basic courtesy of being told they were not selected. A new job is such a significant aspect of someone's life- the communication of a decision like this really needs to be treated with a little bit of sensitivity. I would hope that the interview process does not reflect the character of the company.
