I applied online. I interviewed at Thermo Fisher Scientific (Pittsburgh, PA) in Mar 2022
Interview
I met with several TA leaders who I really enjoyed meeting with (I believe it was 4 people). We went through the whole process, we got to the end and the manager said she was “working on something for me” indicating an offer without saying so but said I would be getting notifications as she moved me through the process (in the ATS). In the mean time I asked her for a quick call because as a courtesy I wanted to let the team know I was pregnant. I was not asking for paid leave or anything special, I was so excited about the opportunity. From here she calls me back the next day and says she doesn’t have an offer for me and would be in touch after my leave ended (I should have known better). I contacted her and she never got back to me. This was ignorant on my part and now months later I’m highly disappointed in how this all persevered. Choose your hires based on the long term result and on their talents.

The interview process was fantastic! The management team I met with were thorough, professional and quick to make a decision and notify me. The pre-employment paperwork was all done electronically and was very easy to follow.
