The HR lady called up to set a telephonic round of interview as per my availability(contrary to how it works in the industry) only to be disappointed on the scheduled time . The person who was to interview was out sick and nobody informed me about this. Later that evening she called up again to setup another time.
Well, after the telephonic round- the next was F2F case study. They will give you a vague case study and will expect you to ask questions.
There were 2 guys who gave me a case study and the discussion went on for more than 1 hour.
Later- the HR person informed me that the case study was not upto their mark as not all the aspects were covered.
This was a very vague statement for any candidate considering that you discussed the case for more than an hour . Didnt they realise it within 30 minutes that it is not heading anywhere?
One of the gentlemen was kind of very show off and was trying to boast off about his knowledge- to which I somehow did not agree as the responses he was giving to my queries during the cacse study were as vague as possible.
So if the coversation is not guided in a correct way - its incorrect to judge a candidate unless your sole motto is to do a time pass inviting 20+candidates on a weekend.
Overall a negative experience.

4 rounds - 1 with HR, 1 technical assessment (conversation where they assess your BA theoretical + situational knowledge), 1 case study, and 1 cultural and leadership interview. The entire process took about 1 month.
Overall a fantastic experience; one of the most enjoyable interview experiences I've had. Next steps were always clear and came quickly (within 1 to 2 days), so you never really have to be in limbo for long. Interviewers were also very genuine and kind - they really want to get to know you and assess your fit for the company. They're also very helpful with answering any questions you may have, which really helps in understanding whether Thoughtworks is right for you.
