Interviewed for PM role at Tracxn and was subjected to a case study assignment. Worked hard on the assignment with took substantial research, time and energy. However, unfortunately didn’t get through. Although I really appreciate the opportunity given and the learning during the process there was no feedback or reason shared to rejection. Even after requesting, for feedback/ reason so that I’m able to understand the company goals and expectations better and would help me prepare for future roles at Tracxn. Still no response/ reason was shared citing integrity of hiring process. I can understand companies help us provide opportunities but they too are answerable to candidates to share some reason and complete the loop for hiring process. Any candidate who go through a couple of rounds and works on assignments shared my any organisations, puts a lot of hard work and dedication. Atleast a fair feedback/ reason is a bare minimum ask after a couple of rounds. If a candidate rejects an offer a complete reason is demanded, where as the same information is not floated from the other way round. Maybe, it might looks like a bit too much to ask, but with great company culture already in place with organisations like swiggy/ Uber/ Microsoft etc makes it clear why they are able to get and retain such top talents.

The interview process took 2 weeks time and was smoothly coordinated. First-round is a case study round with submission to be done in 4 days. Followed by an interview with a Product Manager to discuss the case submission and a guesstimate. The next round is with the Sr. AVP of Product and revolved around product design questions.
