I was a referral from a Treasure Data employee. During the interview process, I first met with a recruiter. Next was with the hiring manager. Then a team member. Lastly the Chief People Officer. Each interview was 30-45 minutes. The process was easy and positive. I left every conversation feeling more and more excited about the opportunity and Treasure Data as a company.

The energy of the team and positive culture shows at every step of the interview. Its a long process, but worth the journey to meet the lovely individuals working there. I did not accept the offer, but it was one of my favorite interview processes I've ever had.

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Oklahoma City, OK
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Treasure Data (Oklahoma City, OK) in May 2022
They recruited me off of LinkedIn. A recruiter reached out and asked if I was interested. We set up a first call with talent acquisition and that went well. Only great feedback. They quickly set up a second interview with the hiring manager. I thought I had a fantastic interview. I asked him - will I be moving to the next round? He said “oh yeah. But it won’t be till next week. We have sales kick off. I just have to get you with one last person. You are exactly what we are looking for.” He was so enthusiastic and kind. I started to worry when I emailed him the standard thank you email and he didn’t reply. He said to email him with any questions. He never replied. Then after I sent three emails and reached out to the recruiter suddenly “I have such a great spark” but they chose a candidate “more clearly aligned to the role.” I have been shocked for almost 24 hours now. I even sent an email saying did you mix me up with another candidate and they haven’t replied to me. The recruiter said she would be happy to help me find other roles but I don’t know why she thinks I would subject myself to this again. I have never had an experience like this. I am very upset that they haven’t given me an answer. They are unprofessional. They are deceptive. If you want to get your hopes up and your time wasted - they are still hiring.
- Where do you live in the United States
- What’s your prospecting style and is it effective?

Anonymous Employee in Austin, TX
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Treasure Data (Austin, TX) in Apr 2022
A Recruiter reached out via Linkedin who I initially spoke to on the phone. I met with various members of the team on a one-to-one Zoom and lastly met with the CPO. Everyone was very welcoming and professional!
- What positions have you recruited for in the past?

Anonymous Interview Candidate
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Treasure Data in Apr 2022
Recruiter was incredibly communicative throughout the process, asking me questions. I had 2 interviews, one with the manager, one with the team I would be working with. The interviews were cordial and I thought everything went well from my perspective. I didn't see any red flags that worried me. But then I heard nothing and the silence continued for a week. I emailed and asked for any updates regarding my candidacy and within 30 minutes I received a response saying I was not chosen. To have multiple interviews and be communicated with so well as a candidate but then not given the curtesy of "we chose a different candidate," even as a form letter is appalling and a sign that the growth the company is undergoing is so focused on more more more that they don't have the time or care to tell people interviewed they were rejected unless prompted directly.
- If you need more information from a Project Manager to complete documentation, how would you go about getting that information?

Anonymous Interview Candidate
I interviewed at Treasure Data
Had an introductory zoom interview . A second interview was scheduled, but cancelled the next day citing the person is out of office. I followed up after two weeks and got no response. I checked LinkedIn and the position was filled. They have zero respect for candidates and I was surprised by their unprofessional behavior.
- Q: Why are you interested in this role?
