I applied online. I interviewed at Treasure Data (London, England) in Jun 2026
Interview
First call with a recruiter. After that, a one hour interview with the hiring manager. I have not had the chance to continue further as the recruiter ghosted me despite reaching out to him a few times. I also want to add that the same recruiter initially cancelled the first interview only few minutes before the start of the call saying that for this specific role industry knowledge was mandatory. This was not outlined in the job description. I challenged that, and he rescheduled the interview which led to a second round with the hiring manager. After that I have not heard anything. Poor experience and very disappointing.
The recruiter from Vancouver quickly asked for a call as they were interested after I applied.
The recruiter knows the company but doesn’t know a lot about the role and her questions made little sense, asking things I had just explained .
She was definitely not showing interest in what I had to say .
I had to ask a follow up a few days later and received automated message that they were not moving forward.
The interview process was quick, smooth, and well-organized. Scheduling was easy and communication was clear throughout. Although I didn’t receive an offer, I appreciated the overall experience and professionalism of the team.
