I applied online through the BSN student per diem program they have. Make sure you complete the online assessment before the application period ends. I heard some people did not hear back because of this. I heard back about a month later for an in person group interview.

Asks questions of experience, why UCLA, why nursing. About 10-20 min interview . Took place in Wilshire at the human resource center. First applied online and submitted requirements and resume. Waited about 2 weeks to hear back and got an interview the following week.

Interview
Very straightforward but be prepared to know the mission and values of this institution. UCLA values customer service and patient satisfaction. They want to know what your short term and long term goals are. If you are a nursing student, be prepared to discuss your time commitment and availability. Depending on the unit, the offering process can take anywhere from a couple of days to several weeks. The HR process is also lengthy as well.
