Structured and formal. No nonsense and all about experience. Candidate leads the discussion and will do large majority of talking. Questions are given to candidates ahead of interview and given time to collect answers.

I had 3 people from my leadership team ask me questions about federal acquisitions regulations and give me scenarios on how I would respond to different problems. These mostly were relevant to the Federal Acquistion Regulation.

Go visit a recruiter. The US military doesn't hire like a normal, private sector employer. You'll have to take a comprehensive aptitude test to see which career fields you'll qualify for, plus a physical and psychological exam. Unless your pretty jacked up there shouldn't be a problem. The process can take some time so don't get discouraged.
