My Interview process started with a regional recruiter contacting within two hours of applying. This was after I completed the online application and work habit/skills assessment portion of the process. I spoke with Chris for about 30 minutes via phone. Mostly confirming and answering questions about my work history and skill set. I was then scheduled for an in-person interview with Zane at the Arlington, WA branch. The process was general as you would expect, looking for someone that could build a new division that was launching within the region. Then I was contacted a week later for an in-person interview with both BM & DM. They made it clear that they had a couple more interviews to complete and gave me an estimated time to decision for an offer to be generated if selected. I am currently waiting for that decision to be handed down. Emphasis from the DM line of questions seem to weigh heavily on technology and the ability to utilize there system for extended periods of time approximately 70% of the job that I was going for. Both Zane and Mike were professional and to the point. Which I appreciate, since it's been over 12 years since the last time, I looked for work. Compared to the number of interviews I have done over the last few weeks. United Rentals process ranks at the top for clarity and transparency in information they have given. Chris the regional recruiter quick to communicate and answer questions. Overall, a great experience in the pacific northwest.
