I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Vanguard (Malvern, PA) in Oct 2019
Interview
Second time applying here. Applied online, must take HackerRank coding challenge. After that, within a few days, HR contacts you for phone screen, then invited for an onsite interview.
Onsite interview is about 2.5 hours. First, a technical interview with case study that basically verifies you had one class of programming. Basically, intro to Java and incredibly textbook questions. Then another hiring manager comes and does the behavioral part of the interview.
At the end of it, the company is more interested in high GPA scores over experience. The culture is nice as most people stay for their entire career, but if you do not completely understand how the company works, they are not interested.
It was a 2 round process one with HR and the other with the manager they dug deep on my resume and my past projects and previous working experience along with behavioral questions.
Met with Team Leader via online meeting. Basic programming questions, became more broad. He was late, it was a Friday morning, and it looked like he had just woken up.

Question 1
Basic concepts, rxjs fundamentals, how would you reverse a string, etc.
They started by introducing themselves and giving me a quick overview of the company, the team structure, and what the role would involve. Then they asked me to talk a bit about myself and walk through my resume. I highlighted a few projects that matched the job description, and they seemed really interested in my work with data visualization.
