I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Vanguard (Scottsdale, AZ) in Sept 2015
Interview
I submitted my resume through their recruiting partner, Randstad, which is on location at Vanguard in Scottsdale, AZ. I was contacted the next day and an interview was set up for the following week. I met with the Randstad rep for a one-on-one interview that lasted less than an hour (I expected it to be much longer). She asked a couple of "how did you handle this" type of questions, and I had to read a case study and figure out what the issues were, what problems it may have presented with the client, and how to resolve it. She was impressed by my questions about the company and the position. The next day I received an email, offering me the temp-to-perm position.

Interview
Overall it was a standard interview. First you have to do a phone call interview and if they like your answers you go to the company in person. Once you are there they give you quick tour, give you a case study, and lastly a behavioral interview.

Received an email within twenty four hours about a phone interview. I was able to choose from my top three choices of preferred times because their main office uses east coast time.
