      9 Jan 2011
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Verizon in Nov 2009

      Interview

I was first interview by phone by the human resource representative. This process is to interview all potential candidates and narrow down the search. Then I was sent a calander invite for a one on one with the director of sales. This interview lasted about 3 hours. The interview was all about getting to hear the passion you have for the job. Then I was interviewed by the regional president. This interview was informal and was more or less an expectations interview.

      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Verizon (San Antonio, TX)

      Interview

Phone interview with Directors favorite DM. Went thru the normal basic get to know you questions. Described position a little and what they did as a DM. Then went thru a generic interview process with around five to six questions that really didn't pertain to job applying for. Overall interview was around an hour and a half.

      Question 1

STAR format questions. Don't really have anything to do with position applied for. Generic interview.

      Anonymous interview candidate
      Irving, TX
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Verizon (Irving, TX) in Jun 2015

      Interview

The application process is long. This was an internal job posting. There were lots of qualified candidates from outside the region. You will probably need to be a floating manager before DM. Your results will get you passed the first round. Its the incremental projects that get you the job.
