Met hiring manager at a meet up and after emails a phone screen was setup. The Data Scientist asked me difficult questions and then hung up on me. I called back and told him I was trained in business management not data science. Linking in with hiring managers is useless and they don't respond to repeated emails spaced at least 1 week apart. It is not like I am pestering them but after 6 months and exhaustive emails I get the picture they are disorganized and don't want to budget for recruiters.
