I applied online and they called me on a Sunday witch was quite odd . They done a quick telephone interview , they asked where I work at the moment and what I do here , then they asked me what good customer service is to me , I really just went on about providing a five star service always going out of my way for the customers and going that extra mile for the customer etc then they asked why I'd like to work for Victoria secret. Then she invited me to an assent centre that Friday I accepted . The assessment centre was very intense but fun at the same time. There was four of us being interviewed and two people interviewing us . Firstly they went around the room and we had to introduce are self and tell them a fun fact about are selfs , they don't want to here here I have 9 cats they want to here achievements like say for example I speak another language or I volunteer in a charity shop something good about you that's relevant . Then there was a group activity this is where they put 8 bras on the tad and the four of us had to discuss witch ones we thought where the four best sellers and 4 not so best sellers , here they want you to be able to talk about the fetures and benefits about each bra and make sure this is very important to be seen to be asking other people questions and listen to other peoples opinions . After that they went around and asked us situational questions like tell me about a time you went out of your way for a customer , tell us about a time when you had to deal with a problem that a customer had that at the time you didn think was that important , tell me about a time when you when your team and it succeeded etc etc make sure when your answering these questions that your not babbling on and that your straight to the point . Then they ask you sales related question like how would you get a customer to buy something when they origanally where not . So here just talk about link selling , up selling and and asking open ended questions like I see your looking at the new bras which ones your favourite !? . Then you go on to a selling activity where you have to pick something out a bag and sell it so in my interview it was a bag of stationary and you had one minute to sell it so Basicly just talk about the fetures and benefits and think outside the box and give a give for it ! That's Basicly it just come across supper happy to be there super excited and always answer the question with a customer focused attitude . I'd also suggest to make sure to wear bussiness black i.e black long pencil skirt , black blouse , black tights and I'd definitely wear black kitten heals they look really good for the intwrview.
