I applied in-person. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Victoria's Secret (Littleton, CO) in May 2011
Interview
I printed an application out online, brought it in the next day. I went to the cashier and said I had an application to turn in and she called for the hiring manager to come who signed me up for a group interview right away. Its safe to say i did not get the interview based on my application as she hardly even looked at it. At the group interview it was me and three other girls, one of which was texting on her cell phone the whole time! I was the only one who was dressed in dress pants. She directly asked each of us three different questions. It was easy and they said they were going to contact each reference we had put down. I got a call the next day asking if I wanted to be hired!

Question 1
What did you like most and least about your last job?
Hiring managers prioritize your personality, availability, and customer service mindset, looking for candidates who are friendly, adaptable, reliable, and comfortable engaging with customers, rather than focusing heavily on prior experience or technical skills.
Very easy, first a phone call then meeting in person. Took a while to be seen in person even after the scheduled meeting time, they had me just kind of stand in a corner for a while waiting for someone to become available.
