I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Waddell & Reed (Kansas City, MO) in Feb 2015
Interview
Short, easy was able to get a lot out of this a internship but it was very focused. I just kind of did a bunch of different things and it was kind of boring. I don't know if I'd recommend it but it was not a bad experience
the interview process for intern position at Waddell & Reed was thorough but enjoyable. The employer really wanted to get to know you as a person beyond just your experience in the real world.

Question 1
Q: How well do you work on a team and provide an example
It was a very casual interview - no serious questions were asked from company's side other than "Tell me about yourself" or "What are you looking for?" Wasn't a fit for what I was looking for - a lot of secretarial work like filing, etc. involved. Seemed rather disorganized and slightly unprofessional.
