I applied online. I interviewed at Western Financial Group (Winnipeg, MB) in Nov 2025
Interview
Expect multiple interviews, including a phone screening call.
After submitting my application through Indeed, I received a phone call from the HR hiring manager with a few questions. Following the call, I had my first interview with the HR hiring manager and the role manager. The questions were standard but required examples and experiences from my past. The second interview was about a week and a half later, and surprisingly, the director of sales asked the same questions as the first.
Honestly, it felt redundant. When I received the email for the second interview, I wasn’t given any context, so I went in blind.
Overall, I felt like I wasted a lot of time studying and preparing for the interviews, and it wasn’t until I followed up that I learned they were moving forward with a different applicant.
