The interview aimed to evaluate your original alpha-idea generation ability, ensuring that your strategies are genuinely your own and not simply replicated or copied from third-party sources or tools. Overall, the whole process was easy-medium level difficulty.

How did you come up with a particular alpha? Describe another idea and why it works?
It is very easy once you reach 10k points in Worldquant brain challenge they invite you for the interview followed by background check which is very easy and straightforward simply submit 6-7 alphas and you will be eligible for the interview

They asked basic questions like what is an alpha, what are net long short alphas how did you get to know about brain and describe one of your alphas and explain the intuition behind it
It was based on a competition in which we had to submit alphas(which are a measure of how well your algorithm performs.) We had to generate these trading ideas based on how we researched, on the papers which were provided by the firm.
