I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Xero (Melbourne) in May 2024
Interview
Long process over a couple months. Online application, a few timed coding challenges, one way recorded interview, and then an assessment centre (Grad Day) consisting of soft skills interview and a technical presentation. Once you actually get to speak to real people at the Grad Day they are very nice and great at making you comfortable. Took a while in between stages but understandable as they get thousands of applications!

Question 1
If you won an award for embodying one of Xeros values, which one would it be and why.

Interview
Online assessment and then video responses to ridiculous questions which makes me question the interview process altogether. 2 rounds of OA is weird and they should have someone conduct the interview rather than putting everything online.

Question 1
Video Response Question: Lets say you got the offer at Xero, what will you do after you get the news?

Interview
Behavioural -> technical -> video interview -> assessment centre.
Video interview consists of 5 questions, each with a lot of preparation time. These questions are all behavioural and would be good to use the STAR technique.
