I had a positive screening call with the recruiter who was very thoughtful in his responses. However, I was told that I would hear back from the recruiter, regarding whether or not I would be progressed to the next round of interviews. After not hearing back, I decided to follow-up. I didn't receive any responses. This was honestly so unprofessional, and just shows what kind of company this stands for. I totally understand that recruiters don't have enough time for all candidates. But if you specifically say that a candidate should expect to hear back, you should follow through with what you say. Quite frankly, after reading more about the company and the role, I don't think it would have been a good fit. But, respond. It takes two minutes. You never know how we will cross paths again.
