I had three phone interviews with different managers at Xiaomi Beijing office before receiving an offer. For the first two interviews the interviewers did not call me at the agreed time. Waited an hour. Also, HR did not contact me but, I had to request to reschedule the interview via HR. The third interviewer called half an hour late. This already gave me a bad impression about their management. Think about it: If an applicant shows up late for three interviews, would you hire him/her? The interviews themselves were quite similar. I had to run through my CV three times and answered very similar questions during all interviews. All questions were related to projects and responsibilities I owned during earlier jobs. It seemed no notes have been shared between different interviewers. Finally HR requested a call to discuss an offer but unsurprisingly they didn't call me at the agreed time and we had to reschedule again. The offer was far below competing offers so I rejected.

A total of four rounds, almost about 1 interview per week, including one with HOD. The HR round is just a formality. Well structured interviews. Salary negotiation was very tight with barely a 30% hike.
