      Project Engineer/Manager Interview

      8 Mar 2025
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Zeno Power in Feb 2025

      Interview

Started off well, but did not end as well. Recruiter was initially proactive in setting up initial phone screen and was very informative about the company during the intro call. However, the subsequent steps seemed to be bumpier and at times I had to proactively reach out to recruiter to schedule next steps (and this is after already being told there would be next steps). Made it to final panel interview, which involved presentation and 1:1s with panelists. I didn't get an offer, and while that was a bummer, the real bitter taste left in my mouth was from being informed via automated message with no feedback (only triggered when I asked recruiter about application status 2 weeks after panel interview). I would have hoped with all of the time and effort invested on my part in the interview process and making it to the final round that a little more feedback from the company on their decision wouldn't have hurt.

We appreciate you sharing your feedback. It’s reassuring to hear that the early stages of your experience reflected our team’s intent to be welcoming and informative. That said, we also recognize the importance of a timely follow-up and regret falling short. Zeno values keeping candidates informed, and treating them with respect throughout every step of the interview journey. We sincerely apologize that your experience didn’t meet that standard. Your feedback will help us improve how we offer clarity and closure to candidates in the future. We’re grateful for your time and wish you continued success ahead.
