It was a very long and thorough process, where I had several phone interviews, and a Skype interview. The job details changed over the course of several months, as the original hiring manager left before an interview time could be nailed down, and they kept changing who this position would report to.
The seven onsite interviews were back-to-back, and very efficiently managed. I was surprised that each person I spoke to seemed to have a different perception of what this position would be focused on. Keep in mind that the interviews were with senior people in the organization.
I thought the interviews went well, and was surprised that the feedback I received didn't support this. Overall the interview process was very professional, and they reimbursed travel costs in a reasonable time period.
