      Software Developer (Java/Scala) Interview

      6 May 2019
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Madrid
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at eBay (Madrid) in Dec 2018

      Interview

After the first contact from HR, we arranged a phone technical interview with 2 people from the IT department. This was a 40 minutes one, technical, about development, testing and agile, and they explained also the process and eBay. This was great, but they missed to give me the results, I had to ask so they confirmed me I had pass and then sent me the technical quiz. This second step was not very hard for me. This quiz is just about development, just a practical problem. I pass the quiz, or they say that but the process was supposed to be canceled. I actually think they had another candidate already and I was late due to their fault. The overall experience was great, I change to "neutral" just for this.
