Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced veterinary technician/nurse to join our general practice animal hospital for cats and dogs. Someone who treats every patient like their own. We are a growing privately owned hospital.

LVT preferred but not required, pay range negotiable beyond this range for experienced LVT candidates. Benefits package value adds an average of $3.50 to hourly wage.

The Job

• Take histories, assist with exams, animal handling and restraint
• Draw blood, administer medications, vaccines, and treatments
• Maintain accurate medical records
• Conduct laboratory tests and assist with diagnostic imaging such as X-rays
• Monitor and care for hospitalized patients
• Educate pet owners with compassion and understanding
• Ensure cleanliness and organization, including proper aseptic techniques
• Make callbacks to clients and answer the phones if needed
• Utilize cutting edge technology to interact with a hybrid team of doctors and nurses

About You

• 2-3 years previous veterinary technician/nurse years needed.
• No license needed. Just the skills and experience.
• Welcoming. Friendly to patients, clients, and coworkers.
• Autonomous. Fly free, show us your best moves!
• Communicative. Ask for help, collaborate to solve issues, communicate clearly with clients.
• Lifelong learner. You welcome and seek out knowledge.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
