Following the belief that specialization makes money, Capsonic Group specializes in high-volume production of custom molded plastic inserts and composites. Its products include connectors for electronics and vehicles; sensors for telecommunication devices; switch bases for power tools; and brush holders for office machines and appliances. About half of its sales are from automakers and component makers, such as GM, Ford, and Hewlett-Packard. The company operates a plant housing 50 30-ton to 300-ton presses that bind multiple plastic and metal materials to create one part. Its services include product design and prototyping. Sister company Capsonic Automotive produces solenoid switches and lighting components.
