Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) is the state agency charged with promoting business and travel to the Wolverine State. The agency provides such resources as site location assistance, job training grants, and tax abatement assistance as well as information regarding other businesses, state agencies, professional license requirements, and starting a business. MEDC also houses Travel Michigan, the state's tourism agency.
