Goodness, but Goodwin makes a lot of different things! Goodwin is the parent of a family of about 20 companies located in the UK, China, India, Germany, Brazil, Korea, and Thailand. Its subsidiaries make everything from oil and petrochemical equipment to steel castings for the construction industry and wax casting products for the jewelry industry. Subsidiary Easat makes antennas and radar systems. Another unit, Hoben International, processes hard minerals into fine powders that are used in ceramics, civil engineering, and other applications. Just to keep things interesting, it also owns Internet Central, a UK-based Internet service provider. Goodwin was founded in 1883.
