The TemPositions Group of Companies offers temporary staffing services through a number of specialized divisions. The original TemPositions division, founded in 1962 by chairman Richard Essey, provides general office staffing. Other units specialize in graphic design and advertising (The Desktop Group), information technology (CompuForce), financial professionals (AcctPositions) and human resources (HR Staffing Solutions). The company also places personnel in legal services, hospitality, and health care. It has served such clients as CBS, Sullivan & Cromwell, and the New York City Department of Education. The TemPositions Group operates in California, Connecticut, New Jersey, and New York.
